During Power transmission and control technology exhibition in Shanghai last year (PTC Asia), Italian ATOS company asked Richard to find a qualified hydraulic valve block supplier from Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers through the exhibition and supply for the branch in Malaysia. He spent a whole day at the exhibition. He went into almost every booth of Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers and selected more than 20 Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers. The accuracy of the hydraulic valve block is comparable with that of the original supplier, but the price is 20% cheaper, and the lead time is 30-40% shorter.
Richard wondered why among so many Chinese hydraulic valve block manufacturers, only AAK benchmarked the German factory?
