4. Random Watermark

5. Localized Watermark
A localized mark will always appear in the specified position on the sheet. Traditionally, these
Marks are centered within the lower two-thirds of the sheet to make sure they will not be
Covered by the printed letterhead.
6. Repeating/Multiple Watermarks
Some letterheads have multiple watermarks, whereby two or more appear on a sheet.
7. Three Types of Watermarks
Wire
A mark that is lighter and transparent compared to the surrounding paper.
Shaded
A mark that is more opaque and darker than the surrounding paper.
Used for achieving heavier lines and filling larger areas.
