Product Detail

For those applications in need of high thermal stability, good chemical resistance, stiffness, strength, and creep resistance at elevated temperature, PPS is an excellent choice with an outstanding balance of properties.

PPS-MGM651 is a high-temperature thermoplastic material which offers an excellent combination of thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance. It is inherently flame resistant and is virtually unaffected by a broad range of chemicals, even over prolonged periods and at elevated temperatures. It also has low ionic impurities and is colorable.

Injection molding grade is available with glass fiber reinforcements and glass fiber/mineral combinations. Such products are widely used in replacing traditional engineering materials such as metals, the thermosets and ceramics in industries as automobile, electronics & electrical, environmental protection, chemicals, national defense, healthcare, telecommunications and aircraft:
Automobile-power train components, pumps, fuel rails, sensors, etc.
Electrical & electronic- surface mount connectors and chip carriers, etc.
Mechanical applications- blower and pump parts, impellers, etc.
