Product Detail
Why HOVA mining tipper is the right choice
Scope: some bad roads, and difficult operating environments, for example: coal mines, steel mills, boat/ship docks, large construction sites, etc.
Comparison between mining tippers and ordinary tippers:
1. The capacity of two mining tippers is equal to the capacity of three ordinary tippers. However, the price is nearly the same.
The capacity of a HOVA mining tipper is 24 cubic meters. An ordinary tipper is 15 cubic meters. So, the capacity of two mining tippers is about equal to the capacity of three ordinary tippers, and the price is almost the same.
2. The fuel consumption of one HOVA mining tipper and one ordinary tipper is similar.
The engine of the HOVA mining tipper is 336 hp, the transmission is HW19710, the rear axle ratio is 10.24, and the total mass is 60-65 tons. The ordinary tipper’s engine is 336 hp, the transmission is HW15710, the rear axle ratio is 5.4, and the total mass is 40-45 tons.
Therefore, the engines and transmissions of the mining tipper and the ordinary tipper are basically the same. But, the drive axle ratio of the mining tipper is double that of the ordinary tipper. Generally speaking, the speed limit in construction areas is 35-50 Km/h. The speed limit of mining tippers is designed to be around 0-49 Km/h, so the vehicle remains at economic speed range. The clutch of the ordinary tipper is at 5-6. The body weight of HOVA is 20 tons more than an ordinary tipper, but their fuel consumptions are similar.
3. The man power of a mining tipper is only 2/3 of that of an ordinary tipper.
The capacity of a HOVA mining tipper is 55%-60% bigger than an ordinary tipper. Also, 2 HOVA mining tippers can transport the same load as 3 ordinary tippers. So, it saves 1/3 of man power.
4. The maintenance costs of a mining tipper are 1/3 less than the costs of an ordinary tipper.
Since the number of mining tippers needed is 1/3 lower than the number of ordinary tippers needed, the maintenance costs are reduced by 1/3.
5. The traffic is less.
Since the number of mining tippers needed is 1/3 lower than the ordinary tippers needed, traffic is significantly reduced. This will reduce the probability of an accident.
6. The failure rate is lower.
With its structure and configuration comparison, the HOVA mining tipper’s design is better suited for harsh environment conditions. The key bearing structural parts used for mining operations are reinforced. The mining tipper has higher attendance rate for the user, thus gaining time and creating efficiency.
7. Service life time is greatly extended.
The key components of the HOVA mining tipper strengthen its structure, making its general lifetime 5-6 years, while the ordinary tipper’s lifetime is only 2-3 years.
