This product with chlorogenic acid as its main ingredient is extracted from dry leaves of Uecommia Ulmoides Oliver.
Eucommia ulmoides, a traditional Chinese medicinal plant, has been found to help regulate blood pressure. It is especially beneficial to those with high blood pressure.
Chlorogenic acid, an ester of caffeic acid and quinic acid, is a major phenolic compound and can be found widespread in plants and can be isolated easily from Eucommia ulmoides and Lonicera japonica . This compound, long known as an antioxidant and an inhibitor of the tumor promoting activity of phorbol esters, also slows the release of glucose into the bloodstream after a meal. and might therefore contribute to the prevention of Diabetes Mellitus and cardiovascular disease .Function
